A Journey to Digital Prosthetics: Brent Wright: LifeNabled
From the jungles of Guatemala to the first amputee to complete a marathon
One of the most inspiring presentations from CDFAM NYC 2024 was by Brent Wright of LifeNabled, who discussed his journey to becoming a digital prosthetist.
He transitioned from time-consuming, manual production of prostheses to digital workflows using computational design, applying his work everywhere—from the jungles of Guatemala to helping an amputee runner complete his first full marathon.

If you are interested in participating in the next CDFAM Computational Design Symposium, submissions are now open for the next event in Amsterdam, July 9-10, 2025.
Presenting at CDFAM gives a unique opportunity to connect with leading experts in computational design from industry, academia and software development for two days of knowledge sharing and networking.
