CDFAM 24 Computational Design Symposium: Call for Submissions

Seeking speakers for CDFAM EU in May and NYC in August 2024

Following on from the success of this year’s event in NYC, we are expanding the CDFAM Computational Design Symposium Series for 2024, with events scheduled in Europe for May and in New York City for August, and are now seeking submissions for presentations.

Register to Present at CDFAM 24

Computational Design at ALL Scales

The symposium, spanning micro, through meso and macro to mega scales, invites submissions from professionals and academics in design, engineering, architecture, and software development.

The program aims to broaden the focus of computational design from advancements in additive manufacturing, primarily featured at the CDFAM 23 event, to covering material development, part and system performance optimization, to the latest developments in generative and simulation-driven design up to architectural scale research and applications.

We are particularly interested in how these technologies intersect with and are enhanced by artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Presentations by academics at the cutting edge of research, software developers making new computational tools available, as well as designers and engineers who are leading the application of these technologies are all welcome to submit.

Register to Present

If you are interested in submitting to present for either events in Europe (location to be confirmed) in early May, or NYC in August register via the CDFAM website.

To get a sense of the caliber and types of presentations we’ve featured in the past, we encourage you to review the CDFAM NYC 23 schedule.

Our archive of past CDFAM presentations is available in both video format on our YouTube channel and as audio podcasts. These resources offer a taste of what to expect at CDFAM 24 and the evolving landscape of computational design, additive manufacturing and beyond.

Please note that all presenters will be required to purchase a ticket to the event. This helps cover the costs associated with organizing the symposium and ensures that we can continue to provide a high-quality experience for all attendees.

We look forward to your participation in shaping the experience for CDFAM 2024.
