We have an opening for an intern who will prepare data processing pipelines for machine learning research as part of a team developing ML to enable design exploration (getting to alternative design solutions), design automation (getting to the finished design faster), and sustainable design (with less negative impact).
Executing the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
Appling existing technologies, approaches, methodologies in new combinations to design new products, systems or processes. Viewed internally and externally as a specialist in the discipline.
Presenting projects plans, technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior business leaders (EB and SEB) within technical space and occasionally to senior leaders in partner technical teams.
Communicating solutions across the own function and with cross-functional partner organizations.
The Computational Designer should understand product design process and be able to apply computational design to find optimal design solutions for any given design requirements. As a Computational Designer, you will work with diverse talents to develop generative design models and algorithms to develop and validate designs by employing emergent design and simulation techniques. The goal is to derive human-centered distinctive solutions.
Work with customers of AM team to evaluate potential AM products. Educate customers on how to find best use-cases of AM parts, conveying the benefits of the technology and how to align the design with the manufacturing process. Utilize design for AM knowledge to design Rail products in a manner to optimize the manufacturing and the economics of the targeted product. Work with the manufacturing team to understand all processing conditions required to produce a part, and then design the AM part with these considerations in mind.
The Additive Aero-Thermal Engineer will advance additive manufactured materials technology with a focus on heat exchangers. The materials and complex geometries are not yet well defined, so a significant effort is required to fully characterize the heat exchanger performance. The efforts and decisions by the Aerothermal engineer will shape the future state of additive heat exchangers used for aerospace applications.
Additive Manufacturing Design Engineer. This person will be a key member of the New Product Development (NPD) Mechanical engineering team, working on complex wafer processing equipment that are used to manufacture advanced semiconductors, LEDs, displays, photonics, VCSELs, power electronics, compound semiconductors, hard disk drives, MEMS and wireless chips. Major emphases are given to design for additive manufacturing (DfAM) and its implementation in overall system design, automation/robotics, vacuum vessel design, heat transfer, gas and vapor delivery, incorporation of OEM power supplies and controllers, as well as many other engineering and design areas.
Lead teams in all aspects of new printed part, support designs for the Laser Powder Bed (LPB) manufacturing process. Build and improve a catalog of support design patterns, which can be applied across classes of parts develop and optimize part designs.
Work with our business units to educate engineers on (DfAM) design for additive manufacturing rules applicable to LPB.
Mentor team through part and support development while in the initial stages and deliver production ready files for serial fabrication.

It provides engineering support for aircraft and support equipment sustainment technology development and transition including aircraft, aircraft maintenance and ground support equipment. We’re seeking a seasoned Computational Polymer Scientist. Candidates with multiple of the following attributes are highly desired:
Advanced degree (PhD preferred) from a reputable research group in the areas of computational polymer sciences, computational material sciences, computational physics, computational mechanical engineering, computational mathematics, or other relevant disciplines.
Solid capabilities in creating and developing computational simulation programs. Preferably PhD thesis is on creating and developing numerical methods and simulation programs to solve computational material science problems.
