Calling for speakers and sponsors for CDFAM 23 NYC, Computational Design (+DfAM) Symposium to be held in New York, June 14-15 2023

Due to a very positive response to a previous post where we asked whether there is interest in a computational + DfAM symposium we have decided to proceed with organizing an event in NYC June 2023.

We already have a number of experts from design, academia and software who agreed to participate and we are looking for others to join to present topics surrounding computational design and DfAM.

Our speakers include leading researchers and practitioners in the field of computational design, representing top universities and companies. They will be sharing their insights on the latest trends and developments in the field, as well as their own experiences and research.

Register Interest as Speaker.

If you are an expert in computational design and/or DfAM and have something compelling to share with our attendees, we encourage you to get in touch with us.

Please submit interest via the speaker submission form on the CDFAM website, and let us know a little bit about your background and experience, as well as your ideas for a presentation or panel discussion. We will review all submissions and get back to you if we think you would be a good fit for CDFAM 23 NYC.

The Importance of DfAM Education
There is a common understanding that there are three pillars of additive manufacturing: Machines, Materials and Software. That all three of these aspects need to mature together to advance additive manufacturing. One aspect that is not getting quite as much attention is the need for people who understand how, where and when to apply the technology at the…
