After the success of the DfAM Accelerator held at Penn State, and inclusion of more computational design components at both additive and industry specific events, is there interest in a dedicated Computational Design (+DfAM) Symposium?

Register Interest

To gauge whether a dedicated event is viable we are seeking expressions of interest to participate in a Computational Design (+DfAM) Symposium to be held in NYC June 2023.

We are looking for people interested in attending, presenting at, and sponsoring the event dedicated to computational design and DfAM (design for additive manufacturing), bringing together experts in the field including academics and practicing professionals.

The proposed program will include a series of presentations and panels with time for interaction.

Our goal is to provide attendees with an opportunity to learn about new and emerging trends computational design that will be relevant to their specific industries and interests with knowledge sharing and networking.

If you are interested in participating, please fill out the form.

Proposed topics include:

  • Topology Optimization

  • Generative Design

  • Simulation Driven Design

  • Algorithmic Design

  • ‘AI’ in Design + Engineering

  • Computational Design in Education + Academia

  • DfAM (Design for Additive Manufacturing)

  • Architected Materials

  • Computational Material Development

  • Emerging Design + Engineering Software

Register Interest

Also seeking expressions of interest from sponsors for the event.

Please fill out the form if you or your company are interested in exploring sponsorship of the event and/or contact info@cdfam.com

Examples of the kind of presentations and people that might be interested in participating please see relevant previous posts from the DfAM Substack.
